Read through the Bible passage once through first (without referring to the notes). Remember the main purpose of the TTB program is to encourage you to read through the entire Bible once through (rather than to bog you down with too many explanations).
If, after reading the passage, you have limited time to read the notes, then just read the notes of the verses that you have difficulty understanding.
If you are a young Christian, you may want to skip reading the notes that are in the footnotes (those notes below the short line drawn from the right margin).
If you are a young Christian and have time to read the footnotes, go ahead and do so - but do not be discouraged if you do not understand all that is written in these notes. Do not allow any of these notes that you may not understand to hinder you or slow you down from your bible reading. Remember, understanding everything in the Bible will take a lifetime!
